Movie Adaptation Wishlist

I'll admit that I'm quite a big fan of movie adaptations. I saw
Twilight twelve times, I was speechless after The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and I love Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.

Whilst there are a lot of books that I would argue should be left well alone (The Book Thief, for starters), there are also a few that I think would translate well onto the big screen:

* City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
* The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
* The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima

What I wouldn't give to see Jace or Katniss come to life... I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for those two!

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Twilight and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging were my two favourite films of last year. I love them to bits, but twelve times! I'm impressed!

Naturally, I would first in line for a Hunger Games movie.

Yeah, I love the Mortal Instruments series. I really hope they make a movie out of City of Bones. There would be some hard parts to play, though, like Magnus Bane. But I think that whatever it comes out as (if it's made, that is) will be worth watching.

I would have to disagree with you...
Although The Hunger Games is an AWESOME book, I doubt that it will come out well as a movie. The book is told from Katniss' point of view, and others just see what she acts out.
If a movie was made, the audience wouldn't be able to understand what she's thinking at that point of time, and it be just like any other hunger games
