US // UK
Both these covers are really nice, but I just love the US one (thanks to Thao for drawing my attention to it; I'd never seen it before). I prefer the font on the UK one, but the image isn't nearly as beautiful as the US paperback. Also... does anyone know the reason for the title difference?

It love the US one. Have you read it? Is it any good?
Ooh, interesting! I had no idea the title was different in the USA. I love the US cover.
I love the US cover, but the UK one is pretty! I don't know why they changed the title - it's always interesting that they do for whatever reason. Better sales maybe? Reaches wider audience. I don't know what a "gathering light" and "northern light" reminds me of the aurora borealis.
Wow, the UK cover is gorgeous. I wouldn't mind owning that right next to my US paperback one! hehe.
THIS was the US hardcover edition. I'm really glad they changed it in the paperback reprint.
Steph - I'm so glad they changed that US HC cover. It's not very nice at all.
Sophie - I haven't read it yet, but it sounds really good!
I like the US cover. In fact, I own it. Great book!
I like both versions, it's so hard to pick. UK book covers seem to be more beautiful than US to me though.
I actually prefer the UK cover myself, I seem to be the minority here though. Hmm. The differences between US/UK book always fascinate me. I am generally lucky because often Canada will sell the UK covers on books rather than the US versions.
The only time this didn't work in my favour, was the Harry Potter series where I preferred the US versions of the books because to me they were more "kid-like". So I own that version of the series rather than the one I was selling in my own store. Go figure.
UK, UK, UK! No models. :)

I like both, but the UK is prettier....the US one just looks boring.
Normally I don't like real people on books, but I have to say I like the US better on this one.
I always wonder why they change the names! I agree with you the US one is very pretty and much more eye-catching.
The UK one is really pretty, what an awesome picture but I have to go with the US one.
I think the US cover is gorgeous, the soft neutral and cool colours, the girl is also beautiful and I love her expression and how we only see part of her face. I agree with you on the text in the UK cover though, its much more unique and pretty :).
