US Vs. UK: Uglies Covers

US // UK

So... which Uglies cover do you prefer? I haven't read this book yet, but from reading the synopsis I'd say that the UK cover fits it more. I don't particluarly like the image used for the US one, though I'd still buy it. The UK image looks intriguing... I think I'm going to have to read this soon!

I don't really like either of them, because the US one isn't very interesting and looks kind of like a wilderness survival sort of novel. The UK one, while more eye-catching and slightly disturbing, is (in my opinion) misleading because it makes the book look more exciting than it actually is.

I agree about the wilderness survival thing.. it's a very strange choice.

I prefer the UK covers for the whole series - I think they're really inventive and eye-catching.

I agree with Ink Mage again. Both are a bit creepy.

I agree with Ashley. The UK one does look kinda weird. But maybe it's cause I'm soo used to the US one.

I just read this quite recently and I'm not sure about either. The US one doesn't fit, but then the UK cover put me off the book for ages. It looked so weird.

I really love the U.K. covers for this series.

The US one is so boring and typical. I am sick of seeing books with a girl's face on them (unless they're all beat up like the dark cover of John Green's "Paper Towns.") Another vote for UK.

The one without the doll parts :P The US one. I don't like the headless dolls. Reminds me of some sick kid's revenge on his sister or something...

ALthough i am confused, the UK one looks quite disterbing but on the other hand interesting (: :/

I like the US one(though that could be cause im used to it) cause the Uk one kinda freaks me out. I dont get the people who dont get how the US cover fits the book cause its the scene where tally is hiding in the grass from the wardens and thinks Shay standing there is a warden, (after she snuck in to New Pretty Town to see Peris)but the grass is kinda weird.

Also, the people who say she is too pretty dont get it! she is pretty by our standards, but to the people in Tally's world, anyone from our time, and anyone normal, is ugly! so they would still think she is ugly cause shes not AS pretty as a pretty. this is also why david thinks she is pretty cause he is used to uglies.

I've never read the book but the UK one definetely looks more intresting, its an eye- catcher thats for sure. As well as disturbing but I guess its the price you have to pay. :p

I'd have to agree with some of the others with the US cover - it does look like a wilderness adventure book. I really like the the UK cover - it makes more scene with the story line and it's super unusual so it stands out.
