US // UK
Although both covers are nice, I'm a big fan of the US one. I think the UK colours and font make it look like it's for a younger audience than it is, which is also what some customers at work have said about it. Maybe it's to cross over to younger readers, I don't know.
The US one is lovely. I like the font, colours, single image... oh, and it doesn't make it look like Stephenie Meyer is the author. Which would end up on your bookshelf? I'm still waiting for the US edition to magically appear in my post box!

I prefer the US cover, for the same reasons as you do!
I love these posts. :)
I like the US cover better, myself. It's pretty, but not overly girly.
I have a feeling of deja vu. I swear I've seen this post before. Ah well.
You're not going mad, Jo. I have mentioned the UK cover briefly before, but not in a US/UK post. :)
I'm just about to write my review of this! I prefer the US one, the UK makes me think of tinkerbell and pixie dust :)
I prefer the US too. It's more faery than fairy if you know what I mean!
I prefer the US one as well. And you know, until this post I didn't notice those were petals in the water - I thought it was a butterfly. Oops.
The little star on the "i" on the UK edition takes something away from the book if it's actually intended for young ADULTS rather than young readers.
Definitely US, I love the way they made the petals look like wings. The UK one just looks little-girlie!
US has more mystery and is a little bit darker.

I prefer the US cover for pretty much the same reasons you do. It just all seems to mesh a little bit better together than the UK one. :)
US cover. It's way more beautiful.
I think I like the UK one better.
US cover certainly.
And I really like these posts
The US one definitely.
I saw the UK cover in the shop and it put me off picking up the book. I much prefer the US cover.
Ah, the UK cover is way too sparkly girly...I'd probably never pick it up if I were just browsing :(
US, definitely. I agree about the UK--it's cute and pretty and sparkly, but it looks like it's aimed towards a younger audience.
You've got an award :)

Wow, I mean, I like both, but my sparkling-things ADD draws my eyes to the UK one more. And I seem to be alone on the matter! Of course, it also may be because I haven't read it yet. :)
I totally agree with you Jenny! The UK cover, to me, is nice but I think it makes the book look younger (towards a younger audience)
I really love the US cover. I love the flower petals =D
Agreed. :) The UK one looks a little childish/disney-ish, I think. But cute!
