Nearly one year after forming Unique Features with a three-year first-look deal at Warner Brothers, former New Line executive Bob Shaye and his longtime partner Michael Lynne have assembled a slate of films that includes animation, sci-fi and fantasy.
The Mortal Instruments, based on a best-selling young-adult fantasy trilogy by Cassandra Clare, about a young girl who inherited an ability to see and interact with a clan of supernatural spirits.
