US Vs. UK: A Bad Boy Can be Good for a Girl Covers

US // UK

Wow, could two covers be any more opposite? I think it's safe to say I don't like the US one... it's weird. And the bubbly text is horrible. The UK one is stylish and colourful, and I'd be much more inclined to buy that one if I was in a bookshop.

What do you guys think?

The US one looks like someone ate a box of m&m's and then threw up on some card then let a third grader do the lettering. Harsh but very true. Such an unfitting cover for some serious subject matter. Like the UK one as it's classy but fun.

Ah, I quite like the US cover. *ducks and hides*

It's true to the book, I think - it has a graffiti theme. There's another US cover too the paperback blue one of a near-kiss?

But yeah, the UK one is lovely. :)

I'm not really a huge fan of either of them. I mean, I haven't read the book so I'm not one to judge how it relates, but... I definitely don't like the US one, but the UK cover isn't my favourite either. I think the UK cover could be great, but I'm not fond of the gradient in the background. Not subtle enough and there's too much hot pink for my liking.

I don't love either of them, but I do think the UK one is better. The first one looks like something you draw on your notebook in high school when you're bored in class...

UK! But I really don't like either all that much.

The UK cover is much better. I actually remember seeing this book on the shelves and thinking how horrible the US cover is!

The UK cover is the best, it's funky! The US cover makes me think of a badly designed something on MS Paint, or something - cheap and tacky computer graphics.

I prefer the UK one too, though it reminds me of Charlie's Angels or the old James Bond film introductions.

I like the UK one, but have you seen the paperback US one? It's slightly better than the hardcover, haha.

UK all the way. This one, though, I hate with a passion. http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/12130000/12134749.jpg

i like the way the words are broken up more on the us version - the line breaks, if that what you call them, are more natural to read.
