US Vs. UK: The Demon's Lexicon Covers

US // UK

To conclude what turned out to be a bit of a Demon's Lexicon week here on my blog, I thought it was only right to compare the lovely US and UK covers.

If you'd have asked me a few weeks ago, I would have been firmly on the US side. However, after staring at the UK edition in person for a couple of weeks, I now love it, and think it's my favourite. I like the overall design more, as well as the font and image of the birds. The boy on the US cover is still hotter though, in my opinion. Sarah RB picked a good one!

I prefer the UK version of this. I don't really like the guy on the US cover. I really love the UK version of this. I like the way the the guy's body blends in to the background :)

Great pick for US vs UK.

I like the UK one better, the US one has too much orange in for my taste, lol. I don't like orange! Someone said to me how the bloke in the US cover looks like that guy... I can't remember his name, Clark Kent from Smallville.

I like the UK one too. And I so agree about the US boy!

UK, he's all broody looking and I love his cheek bones and jawline whereas the US one looks like a pouty Tom Welling. XP
Plus the shattered title looks really cool and I love the crows.

I like the cheekbones of the UK guy and the hair of the US guy. (Oops, I'm totally focusing on the guy and not the cover as whole. lol!) OK, I like the skyline in the UK cover. (There, that's better.) :)

I definitely like the US one better. I think it works with the shattered letters and the dark, comic-bookish background.

I'm really torn between these two, but I thiiink, I'm leaning more towards the UK one.

I prefer the UK cover, judging by the background more than the boys.

Wow, both are really awesome, and I haven't read the book so I don't know what it's about, but I have to say I love both equally, maybe the US one a little more. But if they were aiming towards dark and mysterious, the UK is spot-on!

US, partly because the US guy reminds me of Tom Welling, and I had a HUGE crush on him a few years ago... Although, if they guy on the UK cover was a bit more real looking, he'd be hotter... This is fun :D

I absolutely love the UK one better. What is funny is that I picked this book up at work (I work in a bookstore) and the reason I did so was because the guy on the US cover looks like Tom Welling, whom I LOVE. But the colors and the font on the US one are horrible, IMO. The UK one looks amazing and I think the guy is hotter.
