US // UK
I don't mind either of these covers, though I do prefer the UK one, if only for the colours and overall design. Both are relevant to the story, with machinery and technology featuring quite prominently. My only criticism of the US cover is that it looks a bit dull... is it better in person?

It is a bit shinier, yes (we have the US one in NZ, but I have the UK one), although I prefer the UK one.
The downside to the UK one, though, is that it doesn't have the map on the inside like the US one does.
I disagree with you this time, Jen! I love the US cover. I think it's gorgeous with all the red and the cogs.
I prefer the US one but I haven't read the book so maybe that makes a difference. I like the mechanical pattern.
I think the UK cover moves the book up a little and young adults in their late teens, early 20s will be more attracted to it while the US cover will attract younger teens.
The US cover is way more eye-catching and I love the people on the cover.
I think I prefer the US one too, but I agree with the comment above that the UK one looks 'older'. That's unusual in a UK/US cover comparison, isn't it?
In person the US cover is shiny and more dimensional. I like it a lot.
I have never seen either of them in person, but honestly I don't like either of them.
I really like the artwork for the UK version, but I think the US cover still wins it for me. Both are great though!
I prefer the US one - I'm not sure why but it just catches my eye more.
I love the US cover. :)
UK and it looks great in person, really catches your attention
The UK version reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones.
I like the US one best, too.
I prefer the US one, it captures my attention faster!
I really like the US one. All of the machinery is so interesting.
US. The UK one looks a little...weird.

I prefer the UK cover.
The US one cant be enjoyed fully unless you're holding it. Its one of my favorite covers ever and i find it quite distracting when I'm trying to read.
i love the us version
