In My Mailbox #55: New Books This Week

In My Mailbox idea from Kristi @ The Story Siren, and all links take you to Amazon.

I had another big week this week, thanks to my mum buying me some collections of books I've wanted for ages (from The Book People), using the last of my Xmas book tokens shopping with Carla, and some surprise review copies arriving. Luckily I've found room for them all, and can't wait to read them!

For review:

*cough* shift *cough* You are welcome for Catcher in the Rye *sings* If a body, catch a body, coming through the rye! Dude - You will love this book, Holden is like a phony madman, but he is grand.

Claire De Lune and Shade are like make me want to hate you right now, but we already had this convo. I seriously love your imm's they make me happy, book happy :-) now get reading, you crazy book lady

Ooh, you have Claire De Lune!! I'm dying to read that one.

I'm absolutely coveting those collectors' editions of the Phillip Pullman books too. *Love* that series, and my copies are battered.

That may be the biggest IMM I've ever seen. Woah.

Holy cow, that's a lot of books!

Oh, and you have Diary Of A Doctor Who Addict. I read it last year (got a copy for review before it had its date pushed back) and really enjoyed it, especially since I was coming from a fandom perspective.

That's a huge stack, but it's really pretty! And you got Shade already? Wow, lucky! Jeri says they're a bit low on ARCs here, and those won't be going out until late March/April. I'm reading her book, Wicked Game, right now, and loving it! Can't wait to see what you think of Shade!

Wow! What an amazing selection. I read Set in Stone a while back and i really enjoyed it. Can't wait to read Dark Secrets. I'm a little scared to read Nearly departed. This wimp may well have nightmares. Even the blurb is scary. And Fang, I so nearly bought that yesterday but I've ordered it for work because the kids love it too so figured I'll just borrow it from there. Enjoy!
