US Vs. UK: Along for the Ride Covers

US // UK

I like both covers this week, but I think the lovely UK one just wins. I love how the images has smaller pictures and words incorporated into it, as they all relate to the book in some way. It's such a pretty cover, very colourful and eye-catching.

I'm not a fan of the headless models that seem to frequent US covers, though this one isn't too bad. The bike has great significance to the story, and it looks like it's a summer read. I'd buy either!

I have three Sarah Dessen books (Along For The Ride, Just Listen and This Lullaby), all in the UK version, and I love the covers. They're gorgeous. But the UK Along For The Ride is my favourite one of the three, hands down.

I love the UK Sarah Dessen covers and I'm not hesitating at all this week. UK all the way!

I love my own covers, but I have severe cover envy for all of Sarah Dessen's UK ones. This one totally outclasses the US version.

when we first got 'lock and key' in at our bookshop (i'm in australia, i think it was the us cover - pink, with a keyhole) i thought it was the most revolting cover i had ever seen. fortunately, i read the book and LOVED it. so i sold it to people by saying "...so ignore the cover, ok..." and now it has a great cover, similar to the funky one shown here.

Hard one. I don't love these covers, but I don't hate them either. I can't choose!

I would go for the UK cover, it is so much better than the US one(at least for me, as person who hasn't read the book).

I like the UK cover too. It is so much more interesting to look at.

UK hands down! I finished AFTR last night and I loved it. One of my favourite Dessen's.

I love the US one. That one is available here in Holland too!

The US one is very cute, but the UK wins for this book. It is so much more interesting. I think the headless shots are so popular because they don't have worry about matching the characters description?

I like both but the UK one stands out for me:)

I love all the UK covers for Dessen's books- but this one is especially lovely. And it's a fabulous read so it's all-around greatness!

I'm sticking to the US one because of the bike. I think it just fits the book better than the dress.

ALL of the UK one's are stunning, so girly, and cute :P

I'm actually going with the US cover on this one. Because it resembles ideally what the story is about. And the bike is a significant part of that story. But I do love that UK cover too!

I always prefer Sarah's US covers. The UK ones are really cute though and I like how the picture is complied of objects relevant to the story.

The US cover is so cheesy....UK for me! It has so much depth and is so cute....

I like the US cover, actually. I think that the colors are just too dark for the UK cover--and since it was such a summer, fresh read I like the lightness of the US cover

I love both a lot, though I'm going to pick the UK one. Since I love the colors and design used.
