US // UK
Once again, I'm undecided. I love both these covers for different reasons: the US one is sophisticated but sadly missing the model's head, and the UK one is just summery and pretty. I'd say the US edition looks like it's aimed at an older audience, which is probably down to the design and title plate.
Both covers are story specific, with the yellow shoes and camera playing a big part in Viola's life. The artwork on the UK cover is exactly as I imagined her, and I hope it appeals to teenagers when they see it perched on a shelf.
Hmm, I think I've just convinced myself that I like the UK one more (and I don't even like pink!). I have no staying power.

Usually I'm a fan of the UK versions since they tend do be a little more sophisticated...but it seems like the opposite has happened here.
I much prefer the US one - those yellow shoes! The UK one doesn't look as if there's much special about it - the cartoon 'sassy' girl never pleases me, and the pink flowery design I'm afraid is the equivalent of those frangipani stickers on the back of p-plater cars.
Way harsh, but its what I thought when I looked at it!

I prefer the UK version, seems like I almost always do :)
Like you I really like both but I think I prefer the US one just because the UK one feels a bit young? But it's very pretty so hmm...
The US one hands down, I love that cover and those yellow shoes are lush, I wonder where they are from. The girl on the US one looks kind of cool too, I like her outfit and I love the setting.
The UK one looks kind of cheesy and makes the book seem really young. You know me, cartoonish covers don't float me boat
US for me. I don't mind a cut-off head or two on a cover - let's me picture the characters myself.
I don't like pink either, but I much prefer the UK cover.
US for sure this time.
US one looks like it's for an older audience. I think the girliness of the UK one might be off-putting to some readers. Definitely prefer US, although I agree about her head.
LOL Well neither is really my cup of tea but I am loving the yellow shoes. Colourful shoes are awesome!
I thought that the US one was the best at first and then looking closer that the UK ones a winner :D
I love pink, but weirdly I'm not as keen on the UK cover. I haven't read this one but the US cover makes me think it's a quirkier, more unusual read. The pink one is pretty but I don't find it as eye-catching.
Hmmm, usually I prefer the UK ones, but it has to be the US today, pretty, I think it probably just the shoes ;)
US one no doubt about it. The UK one seems to youngish, in my opinion.
Oh, I definitely prefer the UK one!
I like the US one, I've seen this one in stores. It intrigues me and makes me want to read it!!
I like the US version, for sure.
Love the yellow shoes on the US version! The UK cover is dreamy and beautiful, but I don't think it describes the book well, so and extra point to the US there. I guess the US wins! (:
Definitely the US version fersur! It's simple, yet sophisticated!
Definitely the US cover for me. It's just more sophisticated and prettier to look at. The colours are beautiful. The UK one is a little too juvenile looking for my tastes.
I like the US one a bit more, but it still seems to be missing that extra...something. ;)
It's definitely the US for me :)
The US one! (With the UK's The It Girl, it didn't seem to matter that the model's head/face weren't showing, so why does it for this one?)
Wow, thanks for the insightful post. I look forward to reading more from you.
