US Vs. UK: The Agency Covers

US // UK

I'm with the US this week! Although I like the UK cover for its simplicity and vibrant red colour, I don't think it's a patch on the US one. It's great to see Mary on the US cover, and I think it gives the reader a much better feel of the book.

Which one would you buy?

I'm going for the US one as well, but I like both :)

I'm afraid I love the UK more, but it is very similar to Fingersmith (I think!).

I love them both. I have to stay on the fence for this one. I so desperately want a copy of this book. (My car needs some work done so I am trying hard NOT to buy books right now. It is killing me)

The US cover looks more mysterious.

I do agree that Mary makes the US more realistic and mysterious and everything, but the red of UK is just so vibrant, and as we all know it's the color red that draws the eye.

I guess I must be influenced by the aestheticism everyone is into these days because otherwise I would have gone with the UK cover . . . but as it is, I'm 65% towards US. UK gets 35%. Hehe! :)

Aww! I'm glad people are doing the US VS UK thing =]

I like the US one, cause it's beautiful. But I also like the Italian cover, it's not shown here but Ive seen it and posted about it, most people are always torn between the Italian and the US one.

=D

I love the US cover. I like the red, too, but for some reason the UK one doesn't look very..um, friendly?

Taschima - I've been comparing US and UK covers since I first started blogging... it fascinates me! :)

I'm staying at home for this one.

I am annoyed that they've changed the styles for the second book, though. Arrgh with the cover changes! :)

I prefer the US cover by an interstellar mile! I wouldn't even notice the UK one, whereas the US one really caught my attention!
