Vampire Week: A Guide to Fanged Fiction

There are so many vampire books out there these days that it can be hard to know what to choose next. I've compiled a small list of fanged fiction, both new and old adult and YA titles, that I personally have read or own. Hopefully you'll be able to find something new to try! :)

Wow, this is a FANTASTIC guide, Jenny. Although Dracula was distinctly...odd? and not too well-written? But I have I Am Legend and Let the Right One In on my TBR pile. Hoping I can get around to reading them this year. :)

Now this is what I call a guide to my kid of books. Now all I need is a lottery win to allow me to buy these books and give up my day job to read them :) I have now made your guide my to read list. I have read quite a few of them mind you. Salems Lot classic, Marked, great series and can't wait to get into Blue Bloods. Excellent Post Jenny. xx

I have passed the Darren Shan books in the library for years and never realized they were about vampires.

This is fantastic guide. Really. But, I think I would never read Stephen King. His books all so gross. there, I said it. I even have stress long time ago trying to finish his book. and he is the only author i me lame!

I have read a lot of the books on this list my favorites are Let the right one in, interview with the vampire, and my swordhand is singing.

Oh wow - you have so many books on your list that I have read and loved: Dracula, I Am Legend, Interview with a Vampire, Salem's Lot. And some I have on my shelves but haven't read yet *your post has reminded me to crack on and read them!* There's also a couple I've never heard of such as My Sword Hand is Singing and The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, which I will definitely check out. Great list! :)
