US Vs. UK: The Enemy Covers

US // UK

This is a difficult one for me, 'cause I actually like both these covers. I'll admit the UK one is a lot nicer in person - but it has a great design and never failed to stand out on the store shelves. I think it really shows the horror element of the book, and I love the tagline at the bottom: 'They'll chase you. They'll rip you open. They'll feed on you...' Cool, eh?

I don't know what the new US cover looks like in person, but I'm sure it's just as nice. I much prefer the title font on this one, and I like that it's slanted - it makes me feel a bit uneasy. Whichever cover you own, watch out when you're reading at night... I've heard stories from my friends who couldn't sleep afterwards!

I actually like the US version better, which is pretty rare until lately. We seem to be doing pretty good of late. Go US designers. Woot Woot.

This one is tough because I love the US cover, but I think the UK one would look really cool and shiny in person. I guess I gotta go with both. :)

I much prefer the UK one, especially with it's black-edged pages in the hardback. I still really want to read this!

50/50 here. They both have equal chances of grabbing my attention on a bookshelf.

I like the U.S. copy. It has a rough finish to it and the side of the page are black. It looks very cool. I've only been reading it during the day!

The US one. It looks more suspenseful.

I'd say the US one. I love how the font is skewed and really contrasts against the green background, really stands out.

For me it's the UK one by a mile! The font on the US one IS nice, but that's all I like about it!
