Upcoming: UK Covers

There are a few UK releases coming up that have brilliant covers. Some are US imports, and some are homegrown, but all are awesome. So, without further ado, here are 6 of my new favourite covers:

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
Atom / 28th December 2010

Halo by Alexandra Adornetto
Atom / 20th January 2011

Blue Bloods: Bloody Valentine by Melissa de la Cruz
Atom / 20th January 2011

Delirium by Lauren Oliver
Hodder / 3rd February 2011

The 13 Secrets by Michelle Harrison
Simon & Schuster / 3rd February 2011

The Opposite of Amber by Gillian Philip
Bloomsbury / 18th April 2011

What do you guys think? Do you like the subtle changes from US to UK? My personal favourite out of this lot would have to be The 13 Secrets, as I love that series and I'm really excited for this one. Michelle's covers are always so pretty! I also like that Halo's image has been flipped to the other side - I think it works slightly better. And Delirium? Yep, SO COOL.

I love the cover for The Opposite of Amber - it looks really similar to Lisa Shroeder's Far From You. And I agree on The 13 Secrets, that one's lovely.

I prefer this Halo cover and Delirium. I didn't like the green in the US Delirium cover and you can see the title text much better here in Halo its also slight more red like a scene at sunset.

I love the darker purple color of the Nightshade cover! I think it fits better with the dark tone of the novel.

Very subtle differences! In fact, I don't really understand the why of these little differences...
