Trash by Andy Mulligan
I don't like this cover as much as the hardback, but I still think it's great. It encompasses everything that Trash is about, and shows it as a hopeful story, which is what it is!

Noah Barleywater Runs Away by John Boyne
What can I say about this cover except WOW?! The blue is amazing, and I must own it when it comes out. I've decided. Yet another one of John Boyne's books I'll have multiple copies of!

The Dead of Winter by Chris Priestley
How creepy is this cover?! The original was brilliant and very eye-catching/shiny, but this just takes the biscuit. Boys, you need to check this one out if you haven't already. It's spooky!

The Legacy by Gemma Malley
I am in love with this cover. I didn't think Bloomsbury could top the hardback, but they have. I'm actually really excited about getting this paperback, as I have the rest of the series in that format. That one singular image says a lot... none of which I'll tell you for fear of spoiling an unbelievably good series!

Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel
Here's another cover that I think is miles better than the original. It's dark, gothic and uses my favourite colour scheme: red and black. Love it.
I still can't decide whether I like this better than the original silver/grey cover. The black and red (again) is swaying me, but we'll see. Hopefully I'll have made a decision soon...

What's your first impression of these covers? Do you prefer them to the hardbacks?

I'm with you on the John Boyne. Love that blue...
Think I prefer the Trash pb cover as well. Having the boy on the front gives it more of a human focus than the the hb....bit more obviously 'slumdog'..
love the post mate...
I *love* the Infinite Days one! I already thought the HB was gorgeous but this one is simply stunning!
I read The Dead of Winter last year, and really enjoyed it. I love that new cover!
I also like the Infinite Days cover a lot. It's my fave of all the covers I've seen for that book! :)
Infinite days new cover is stunning! The original was very cool, but thats just awesome!!!
I've not read the Gemma Malley books - I take it, they are good?
And Reckless I actually have the PB, so I can say it does look awesome in person!
awesome post - i agree they are all gorgeous
I prefer the other cove of Reckless and or the John Boyne book...I'm 50/50. The blue is gorgeous, but I don't think it fits in with the rest of the cover. Great post.
Leanne - The Gemma Malley books are amazing. My favourite dystopian trilogy!
Wow love that THE LEGACY cover too! I need to read that and the rest, I've only read (and loved) The Declaration ;)
Take a look how I matched them together in a collage:

TRASH looks soooooo intriging to me...
Cheers,
Sorilla
Ooooh good to now - I shall amazon them :D Thanks x
I love the new Reckless and Infinate Days!!! Much better in my opinion!
I like the Infinite Days paperback cover more than I liked the UK hardcover. But neither are as good as the US hardcover. I think the US version is breathtaking, and unique.
I also prefer the original Reckless cover, and again because it was unique. The paperback cover I could swear I've seen before. It just doesn't stand out.
I love the new trash cover and the blue on the Noah cover just looking stunning :D
Thanks for the information. I think that you should wash your face at least 3 to 4 times a day. Youâll be surprised how much better your face will look.
