In My Mailbox #119: New Books This Week

In My Mailbox idea from Kristi @ The Story Siren, and all links take you to Amazon. Click images for a bigger picture!

I wasn't expecting many books this week, but I ended up with some exciting review copies and Amazon orders that dispatched sooner than expected. Some of these books are doubles that will be going to a good home, but still cool all the same! Here's what was in my mailbox this week:

For review:
I will be reading this soon. Sounds great!

I read this one a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Review coming on Monday.

I read this when it first came out in the US around this time last year, and I loved it. This UK edition is lovely!! My review is here.

I've been wanting to read this one for ages but had trouble getting hold of it. I'm a complete Jenny Han fangirl. Thanks to Phil for this one, you genius man!

This series was originally self-published, but did so well that Gollancz have bought it and are republishing it. It sounds ace! Oh, and how cool is the cover?!

Another one that sounds good!

A lovely paperback copy of this arrived, though I think I still prefer the hardcover. Either way, both include fantastic illustrations!

One word: EPIC. So, so epic. Can't believe it's over. *cries* Review coming as soon as I manage to compose myself!

I read an ARC of this but wanted a finished copy. It's so shiny and metallic, and it has creepy Freak fingers on it! My review is here.

Haven't read the first in this series yet, but this was in the buy 1 get 1 half price off at work with the new Carrie Diaries.

Really enjoyed the first book in this series. Hope #2 is just as good!

I so need to catch up with PLL!

I've heard amazing things about this one from lots of my blogger buddies (Lauren and Lori, I'm looking at you!). Looking forward to it!

I hear these are good, and I got all 3 for £5. Not bad me thinks.

One of my best friends sent me an Amazon gift certificate for my birthday next week, so I bought this and another book that hasn't arrived yet. Another one I've read rave reviews of!

I've been wanting to read this one for ages. Thanks mum!

Happy reading, everyone!

Hey Jenny

Like your mum's choice. I want that book. Let me know if it's good then?

I went to a Jenny Han reading this week. She is FABU. Also, SHUG was the first book I read of hers. She just knows how to hit the right writing chords. More people should read her!

As always your IMM is amazing. I love that even though you get many books for review you still buy a lot each week.
