I can no longer look over your IMMs and drool and add things from the UK to my wishlist since the Book Depository seems to have made ALL UK editions unavailable for me now. Which is a real bummer. So many books I can't order that I have been waiting for. Sigh. I'd go Amazon but I don't want to pay for shipping!!

I saw a review saying Imaginary Girls wasn't contemporary too. I just thought contemporary fiction was anything written after 1945? I decided to Google it after reading your IMM and can't find any definition!
But, basically, they use mobile phones in Imaginary Girls so I can't see why it's not contemporary!
I really want to read Hourglass and Imaginary Girls and I just started Here Lies Bridget and I'm really enjoying it. Though it is really like Before I Fall.
I haven't read any of those books, but they do look and sound good! :)
