Pivot Point is soon to be available here in the UK, and I'm excited to be a part of Kasie's first UK blog tour! I love her writing and can't wait to read more by her. If you guys were wondering what Pivot Point's all about, here's a summary:
Perfect for fans of Sliding Doors, Kasie West's riveting novel Pivot Point follows a girl with the power to see her potential futures. Addison Coleman's life is one big "What if?" As a Searcher, a special type of clairvoyant, whenever Addie is faced with a choice, she is able to look into the future and see both outcomes. So when her parents tell her they are getting a divorce and she has to pick who she wants to live with, a Search has never been more important. In one future Addie is living with her mom in the life she's always known and is being pursued by the most popular guy in school. In the other she is the new girl in school, where she falls for a cute, quiet artist. Then Addie finds herself drawn into a murder investigation, and her fate takes a darker turn. With so much to lose in either future, Addie must decide which reality she's willing to live through . . . and who she's willing to live without.
Thanks to Kasie for this guest post and I hope you like who she's picked for her dream cast! Xavier Samuel... YES!
Pivot Point/Split Second Dream Cast
Whenever anyone asks me if I have a dream cast for Pivot Point, my automatic response is, no. Mostly because, aside from the basic features of each of my characters, I really don’t have a clear picture of what they look like. I like people to imagine the person they want to imagine while reading. That said, an answer like that would make a pretty boring post. So when asked, I do go searching for a similar look to what I had in mind. I generally choose different people every time I do this. So for this post, these are some of the actors around today that could represent the five main characters in Pivot Point and its sequel.
Sasha Pieterse (Addie):
Matt Dallas (Trevor):
Xavier Samuel (Duke):
Shay Mitchell (Laila):
Avan Jogia (Connor):
