Red House Children’s Book Award Blog Tour: Demon Dentist

Darkness had come to the town. Strange things were happening in the dead of night. Children would put a tooth under their pillow for the tooth fairy, but in the morning they would wake up to find… a dead slug; a live spider; hundreds of earwigs creeping and crawling beneath their pillow. Evil was at work. But who or what was behind it…?

Demon Dentist has been shortlisted in the younger readers category of the 2015 Red House Children's Book Award. The Red House Children's Book Award is the only national children’s book award voted for entirely by children. It is owned and co-ordinated by the Federation of Children's Book Groups, and sponsored by Red House.

Unfortunately, due to David being so busy, he wasn't able to write anything for this blog tour, but I do have an extract from the book and a couple of brilliant illustrations to share with you. I loved this book so I'm very happy to see it's been shortlisted!

Go HERE to read the extract!

Here are a couple of Tony Ross's illustrations from the book. Aren't they great?!
