Wondrous Reads' Top 10 Books of 2014

Every year this list gets more and more difficult as the calibre of books published seems to reach dizzying new heights. I've been debating which books to include for days now, and I think I've finally come up with my list!

The best book I read this year was actually The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, though I haven't included it here because it wasn't published in 2014. The books on this list were all physically published this year in the UK and I loved each and every one of them. Let me know if you agree / disagree with any of my choices!

10. Shimmer by Paula Weston

9. My True Love Gave to Me edited by Stephanie Perkins

8. The Fall by Bethany Griffin

7. Blue by Lisa Glass

6. 9 Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean

5. Dreamwalker by J.D. Oswald

4. The Memory Book by Rowan Coleman

3. Awful Auntie by David Walliams

2. The Martian by Andy Weir

1. Ophelia and the Marvellous Boy by Karen Foxlee

OKay, clearly I need to move Ophelia and the marvelous boy up my TBR. I've been interested in it since before it's release but just haven't gotten there.

I love that most of these are really underrated reads :) Happy New Year, Jen!

I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't read a single one of these! I remember reading your review of Dreamwalker and becoming interested in reading that one, but my library doesn't carry it. :( Hopefully I can convince them to add it to their collection so that I can read it.
