EXCLUSIVE: Cover Reveal - Air by Lisa Glass + Blue Movie News!

Last year I read Blue by Lisa Glass and it turned out to be one of my favourite books of 2014. It's a brilliant read and is the best contemporary novel of its kind by a UK author - I absolutely love it! The sequel, Air, is published on June 4th and continues the addictive story of Iris and Zeke.

I'm really excited to be revealing the finished, final cover for Air, which I think you'll agree looks just as good as Blue! There's also a bit of exciting movie news for the adaptation of BlueBluer Than the Sky, which you can also read below.

Do let Lisa and Quercus know what you think on Twitter at @TheSeaSection and @QuercusKids.

Here it is... the UK cover of Air!

Air by Lisa Glass is the second book in the hottest YA romantic trilogy about surfing, love and friendship (June 2015, Quercus). Blue is a love story that centres around Cornish teenager Iris Fox who enters a complicated relationship with famous young pro-surfer from Hawaii, Zeke Francis and Air is the thrilling follow up! When Iris and Zeke take a break from competitions to relax on South Beach in Miami, Iris feels more than just the draw of the surf pulling Zeke away from her. Something's not right, and soon Iris will have to decide if she and Zeke are really the best thing for each other after all…
Even more exciting news for this trilogy – Bluer Than the Sky, (adapted from the novel Blue) is going to be made into a film in 2016 and Gregg Sulkin and Drake Bell and only two of the fantastic actors already confirmed to star in the film. Auditions for secondary characters and other minor speaking roles are set for the Atlantic Hotel, Newquay, on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2015, with call-backs scheduled for Monday 11th May. Auditions will run from 9am – 5pm. John Duigan and the full production team will be staying in Newquay to conduct the auditions.

What do you think? Doesn't it look lovely and summery? I can't wait to read it!
